Delivery of corporate performance information is increasingly important.
Speed of change is forcing organizations to be able to react quicker.
When a new opportunity or threat appears, you can't wait weeks before you react.
So organizations need to empower a growing number of employees to take decisions
that until recently only senior managers could take.
To do so they need relevant and timely information that they can look at from the right
perspective (for example, geographical, sales channel, product category ...) and regardless of their current location.
In other words, if an organization is to succeed in the evolving business environment,
its financial function has a huge responsibility is to get information out to a growing number of "information consumers", fast.
